
Questions about rail travel in Germany?
Our family is traveling in Germany (from U.S.) to visit family living in Düsseldorf. Although we would like to travel to other places (I think the Nuremberg and Munich). Can anyone help me understand the German Train tickets called "Schönes Wochenende. I understand that it is up to 5 people traveling together. Is this the price of 37 Euros per person or total? That children under Need 14 tickets? There are 7 of us and 2 are under 14 years. Also, is there a version of this post that can be used on weekdays? Thank you.
The ticket is a group of 5 people and costs 37 € for all people. Children should of course notes that you need to buy two tickets from 7 people are not covered by one ticket.
