How u Eurorail ticket book Paris-Zurich? Need Reservations? Traveling during the day and with 2 children under 7 years.
TGV-europe.com is a site for reservations. I think they have e-tickets you can print. If not, they probably have a confirmation number and you can search inputs to the staion. You can also go to http://www.tgv-europe.com/en/promo/bpn/?autp=TGV-AP-WWen-BPNJan08 http://www.raileurope.com but I see the first site has a coupon you can use for online booking, so try this first.
Our family is traveling in Germany (from U.S.) to visit family living in Düsseldorf. Although we would like to travel to other places (I think the Nuremberg and Munich). Can anyone help me understand the German Train tickets called "Schönes Wochenende. I understand that it is up to 5 people traveling together. Is this the price of 37 Euros per person or total? That children under Need 14 tickets? There are 7 of us and 2 are under 14 years. Also, is there a version of this post that can be used on weekdays? Thank you.
The ticket is a group of 5 people and costs 37 € for all people. Children should of course notes that you need to buy two tickets from 7 people are not covered by one ticket. The ticket is valid on weekends only and not on the ICE and IC trains http://www.bahn.de/i/view/DEU/en/prices/germany/happy_weekend_ticket.shtml

My fiancee and I are going to spend our honeymoon in July and fly through Amsterdam Paris, London and Dublin. We organized methods cheap travel for all but the Treaty of Amsterdam to the Paris leg of the trip. The one very important thing in transportation research is to have it be affordable. I know most places say that the train is the way to go, but this is very expensive. We need only point to point travel and the site says it will be Eurrail $ 353 per person for Amsterdam Paris. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I do not mind spending a reasonable amount of money is just $ 656 in total seems a lot to me.
It's your honeymoon, but if you do not mind spending a little more time to travel you can save money by taking a bus. Eurolines offers the trip for 35 euros per person (about 50 U.S. dollars). The disadvantage is that it takes 8 hours. You can get tickets online or at the office in Amsterdam which is located on the subway line. Have a great time:)

Is it cheaper to book Eurail spaces at the station?
I'm on a Eurail Pass to travel around France and Spain. I whether it is cheaper to book online or at the station?
Make your reservations for seats as soon as you are sure travel, the seats can get advanced. So if you wait until you're the city, you may miss the train you want to do. If you the right place they do not charge more than you pay at the station, but there are commercial vendors that offer tickets to make reservations for a fee. What is the Eurail journey from Rome to Venice and Rome to Milan?
I'll be in Rome next month on vacation and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to get from Rome to Milan and Rome to Venice. I have to take a flight and I was wondering which city to book the flight I'm done and based on the time it takes to get to each city through Eurail. In addition, if there is an option to take a train at high speed, how much would it cost? Thank you!
Depends on the line. If you take the Eurostar (slightly more expensive than IC trains) from Rome to Milan is about 4 to 4.5 hours. Milan to Venice is 3 hours by train and around IC 2 by Eurostar. Direct flights from Rome to Venice, I'm not sure, but check out this site. Do not worry, just click on the button for English and will translate very well.
