Eurail train travel in second class with a 1st class ticket?

Because of the age I'm having a 1st class ticket for Eurail. I watched some train schedules and some say they are a 2nd class train. Does anyone know if I can still ride on it with my ticket to first class? Or is it for 2nd class tickets only? Thank you!

Interesting question … 1. To me it looks like 1st class is good on All trains that pass http://eurail.lwb-online.info/index.php?view=cms_527 #, if you only had a 2nd class Pass, then you'd have to pay a surcharge on certain "1st class train" 2. Eurail Pass site lists 3 or 4 vendors in the United States: http://eurail.lwb-online.info/index.php?view=cms_84 and could be called one of the U.S. sellers and ask them directly. Good luck and have fun!

Is it cheaper to book Eurail spaces at the station?

I'm on a Eurail Pass to travel around France and Spain. I whether it is cheaper to book online or at the station?

Make your reservations for seats as soon as you are sure travel, the seats can get advanced. So if you wait until you're the city, you may miss the train you want to do. If you the right place they do not charge more than you pay at the station, but there are commercial vendors that offer tickets to make reservations for a fee. This page has many information on travel tickets in Europe and links to the best sites for things like reservations: http://www.seat61.com/Railpass.htm

What is the Eurail journey from Rome to Venice and Rome to Milan?

I'll be in Rome next month on vacation and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to get from Rome to Milan and Rome to Venice. I have to take a flight and I was wondering which city to book the flight I'm done and based on the time it takes to get to each city through Eurail. In addition, if there is an option to take a train at high speed, how much would it cost? Thank you!

Depends on the line. If you take the Eurostar (slightly more expensive than IC trains) from Rome to Milan is about 4 to 4.5 hours. Milan to Venice is 3 hours by train and around IC 2 by Eurostar. Direct flights from Rome to Venice, I'm not sure, but check out this site. Do not worry, just click on the button for English and will translate very well.

Trains from Marseille to Venice?

What is the best way to travel from Marseille to Venice? I watched the Eurail timetable and it does not look like there are trains between these two cities.

There are no direct trains between the two, but that does not mean you can not get there the train. The German train website is a good resource for planning rail travel across Europe. http://www.bahn.de/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml. The best option was to take a train from Nice and Marseille to catch the overnight train to Venice, but the night train does not work on this route. There are different channels with 3 changes of train, including Marseille – Nice – Milan -. Venice is a very good train travel information site which includes links to websites various national train: http://www.seat61.com/ You might also consider budget airlines for this trip: http://www.skyscanner.it/, http://www.whichbudget.com/ – Account both Marco Polo and Treviso to find the best option for you. Treviso is a little further, but there are buses that meet the flight and run to Piazzale Roma in Venice in about an hour.

The best way to travel if the European countries …?

Thus, at the end of the year, a friend and I would travel to Grenada, Paris, London and then back to Grenada again …. Eurrail is the best way to go Abu this? Is this a flight from smaller airlines the best way?

A flight from Grenada will not be cheap. Traveling by rail, you will pass through the campaign too quickly. The bus will be a slow process, and I would like to drive. There are wonderful places to see on the road. You can stop wherever and whenever you want. I have grown from an area close Granada in the UK and back twice. I do it again next year.
