The reservation of seats for trains of Deutsche Bahn?
Reservations required for ICE trains and night trains? How to make a reservation if I have a German Rail Pass? I hear there are restaurants in the ICE trains … Are they good or too expensive?
Overnight trains require reservations if you get a sleeping compartment (20-100 depending on you in a book 6,4,2) compartment. Reservations are not required euro on ICE trains Germany, but recommended on certain roads at certain times. If you go to Deutsche Bahn website and view your itinerary they let you know if it is recommended. They are necessary for the Eurostar Italian and most other countries express trains. Check the Rail Pass site to see which countries require Reservations om fast trains.
