What is bus or rail travel in Eastern Europe?
I would go to Tallinn, Estonia, south to Eastern Europe at least until Budapest potentionally insofar Bulgaria. I would then make small trips to the north stopping along the way to Tallinn. What is the best way to do it and how much it will make me run? Eurorail only seems to cover Western Europe.
For some legs of this trip, you may find bus is the best. Depending on the particular bus leg could be cheaper but take longer. I was surprised that in Czech train eventually cheaper because there were 3 of us and we could travel tickets GE ta. We just bought this at the ticket at the station. Usually train travel Bus is cheap in Eastern Europe.
