Rail / Rail Passes in France (TGV)?
My boyfriend and I are going to France for three weeks (22 days) and we want to travel the country by train. We planned our way, and we train schedules (times of departure and arrival), however, we are unaware of the process * Passing *. We know the railway line is the TGV, and we have our road (where we go and what we see) and the daily schedule set forth in … but apart from that, we are lost. We want to buy a rail pass that gives unlimited travel either for a specified number of days, or give us a number of trips train in a number of days or something like that. How (not) Rail Pass (s) work? How can we max our journey by rail without breaking the bank? Can someone enlighten us on how to travel with the train going in France? What packages / options are available? What are the prices? Where can I buy the pass? Any website you can direct us to? You so thanks!

TGV means Tres Grand Vitesse (high flow). There many other trains for short trips and it can not be much of a speed advantage if traveling on a bullet train rather as an ordinary train. You can sit and check the individual prices of each leg of your trip rail to see what kind of fees you are watching. Then you can compare the costs of the pass.
