rail europe tickets passes 2 Rail Europe Tickets Passes
Rail passes in Europe?

When planning to travel by rail to several different countries in Europe, is it better to purchase a flexipass or to purchase tickets as we go? We plan on traveling at nite to help cut cost on hotels and I am just wondering if we should “prebook” or pay as we go?

You cannot purchase in Europe unless you are in the Military stationed overseas, so get the rail pass before you leave the US. You still have to pay extra for overnight sleeper cars if you use them and if you want reservations you also pay extra. Either way, you save a lot of money with the rail pass.
It may be cheaper to rent a car or motorhome / RV and drive Europe. Camp Grounds all over Europe have Showers and are very nice and driving in Europe is like driving in the US or Canada. Hotels are also pretty cheap and in Germany, Italy or France, a 3 star is a pretty nice hotel Check out the links below.
