where is the most scenic train ride in Japan?
As a foreign tourist, I'll either go buy Japan Rail (national coverage) or JR East Pass (Kanto region). where is the most beautiful train trip in Japan, where the view is spectacular as the one in the Swiss Alps of Europe or the mountain U.S. rock?

Overall, if you are looking for spectacular views, like mountains in the Swiss Alps or Rockey U.S., you'd be disappointed in Japan. In general, our views panoramic views are not at all grand and minute scale and the air is generally not as clear as seen in other countries due to moisture much in the air.
