How flexible is the Eurail Global Pass?
I'll travel through Europe this summer, and I'm using trains with Eurail Global Pass. How flexible is it? Is it is permitted only at major stations, or can I use it mostly stations in authorized countries? I'll check a lot of local / small towns and I wonder if it still works on smaller stations. Thank you in advance!
Small plants and cities will generally not problem.Most trains that stop at smaller stations are regional trains. You can use your card as a ticket on these trains, without having to pay a fee to complete or first reserve, so there is no problem. Here in Italy you can occasionally run into a Intercity train which stops at the stations without a wicket. You would just need to wait for the next local train since there is a large fine if you do not pay the supplement before boarding the train long distance. The only other problem is that for your first trip, you must have the identification card and train station. You could not do a very small station does not stop, but it would be very unlikely you would from a station that small anyway.
